Shane Sedlak Art
Some artwork I ordered after seeing it on Reddit arrived, and I share more about the artist.

Frequenting Reddit, I regularly come across some fairly interesting stuff - and some not interesting, mind. It kills the time and I get to see amazing things that Humanity is capable of as I work on my own projects.
The other day, I was browsing an art related subreddit and came across Shane Sedlak's artwork being shared. He's an artist based in Omaha, Nebraska who uses ballpoint pens of various colours to create art.
There were a few artworks being shared, but the one which took my fancy was an album artwork as outlined below on the artists Facebook -

I decided that I'd purchase a print of the album artwork along with some others that I found interesting, though I'm not posting them.
Of his artistic Journey, Shane said "Story Time... Exactly one year ago I sat somewhat desolate in my study as my last winter break began. My world had quieted down but my mind remained unsimmered. It demanded a familiar outlet. I had a red pen for lab corrections, a black one from the kitchen drawer, paper from the printer and a lot of time to draw. Since those first few weeks of intensive work I have sought continuous growth as an artist, the primary role I've chosen for self-expression in this life. I needed practice in order to develop and time to practice. And a community built on resonance to make the whole process worth a damn. This year I hit a cosmic jackpot of receiving all of these things. The love I've experienced and my capacity for gratitude may be incongruous, but I'll still attempt a convoluted thank-you. Because I create every day, mostly unrestricted, with the support of family, friends, art-lovers and artists driving my work. That's a bizarrely cool situation. I'm going to make the most of what may be just as temporary as it is special.
Stay grounded."
I placed the order and received a handwritten note from Shane to say thanks, which I've placed in the frame with the print. I think that adds a special and personal touch to the artwork.
Some of Shane's other work can be seen below, shared from his Instagram.
